I'm just curious. I know that TXBRA used to be a thing, and that it folded some years ago - why did no one ever pick it backup? Again, just curious. I'm busy. I'm in IT - a field resource - so, I'm always traveling, and always working in different locations, working late, etc. I hope to be able to do some crit racing this season (I'm quasi-training on a trainer now). I cover a territory that encompasses the Tuesday Night Crit in Richardson, and I'll try to plan on being around that race on Tuesdays this Spring/Summer. I was hoping to find others - and may try still - in the Amarillo/Abilene/Temple areas. If Thursday happens again at Fair Park...I can be around there and squeeze that in, too. And, I may try to travel with the bike when I go out of state on business - see if there are any races there, too - but, I digress. I don't necessarily want to be competitive (that's a hope, but not an expectation). I just really love the thrill of it! Thanks!

IF we are to have a Real Road Race in Texas post TXBRA, it takes you to race. Period. You've got to sign up and attend. I hate combining ages or cats .... it takes you. And my tent vendor retired and went to Hawaii ... (Don't tell me there's no profit in tents) so if you know someone ... please You, the Peleton, your team, your bike, the topography, lungs and legs ... that's what Road Racing is all about.

Is it worth bothering with REAL Road Races ... Will the Fort Hood Challenge get people this year ... is there still a market or is everything gone for Gravel Rallies ...
